Frequently Asked Questions

How much light do FernFrame plants need?
It depends on the species, but most of our framed plants thrive in medium to bright indirect light. Ferns prefer diffused light, while pothos and succulents handle moderate light well. We provide detailed care cards with every purchase specifying the exact light needs of your plant.
Can I install a living plant frame on any wall?
Most walls work fine! Living frames are lightweight and mount securely. However, location mattersโ€”you'll need access for occasional watering (every 1-2 weeks depending on the plant) and we avoid placing frames directly over electronics or where water could cause damage. Our designers will advise on the best placement during consultation.
What's included in the care package?
Our standard care package includes monthly visits for watering, misting, fertilizing, and pest checks. Premium packages add pruning and plant health monitoring. We can adjust frequency based on your needs. Canceled anytime with 2 weeks' notice.
How long do preserved botanicals last?
Preserved flowers and leaves are sealed in archival-quality frames and will last indefinitely when kept out of direct sunlight. They won't fade, wilt, or require any maintenance. Many of our preserved pieces are 5+ years old and look brand new.
Do you offer custom designs?
Absolutely! We love custom projects. You can specify plant type, frame color, size, and style. Custom framing typically takes 2-3 weeks. Contact us with your vision and we'll provide a quote and timeline.
